Updating Language on CustomerHub: A Comprehensive Guide to Language Settings and Translations

The CustomerHub app allows you to translate up to 5 languages to provide a seamless user experience for your customers. This guide will show you how to update the language settings and translations for your CustomerHub app.

  1. Enable Languages in Shopify

Before you can translate the CustomerHub app, ensure you have enabled your desired languages in your Shopify store. To do this:

a. Go to your Shopify admin and navigate to "Settings > Store languages." b. Add the desired languages you wish to translate for your store.

  1. Access the Language Section in CustomerHub

From the CustomerHub app:

a. Go to the "Customize" tab. b. Click on the "Language" section.

  1. Add Translations in CustomerHub

In the "Language" section of the CustomerHub app:

a. Choose the language you want to translate from the dropdown menu. Ensure it is a language you have already enabled in your Shopify store. b. Manually update the language fields for each element you wish to translate. c. Click "Save" to apply the changes.

Note: CustomerHub provides auto-translation for multiple languages. If your desired language isn't auto-translated, contact our support team, and we'll add it for you.

  1. Customize Individual Field Translations

You can also customize individual field translations as per your preferences. For example, you may want to change the "Reorder" button text to "Buy it again." To do this:

a. Navigate to the "Language" section in the CustomerHub app. b. Find the field you want to customize and update the text as desired. c. Click "Save" to apply the changes.

  1. Update Menu Item Language in the Menu Builder

To update the language for menu items in the CustomerHub app, you need to use the Menu Builder:

a. Go to the "Customize" tab and click on "Menu Builder." b. Click on the menu item you want to update. c. Update the menu text and translations as needed. d. Click "Save" to apply the changes.
